Our heartfelt thanks go out to Canadian racecar driver Alex Tagliani, who took the Ajusto Challenge this month and won, with proceeds going to his charity of choice: Food Allergy Canada.
Alex competed against local Quebec personalities, Dominic Arpin, Mélanie Maynard and Charles Lafortune to attain the highest possible Ajusto score. Ajusto, an app created by DesJardins Insurance, empowers users to monitor and learn about their driving habits — and get rewards for improving their road safety skills.
“Having on board telemetry was valuable for win,” tweeted Alex. “Food Allergy Canada benefiting $8,650 amazing!!!”
Alex has been a steadfast supporter of Food Allergy Canada’s initiatives and community education. His own experience with food allergies has led him to be a food allergy ambassador for children and youth. An international racer who continues to rack up wins and awards, Alex was recently inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame.
From all of us: thank you, Alex!
