Kashi Canada has recently announced a change to their products:
Kashi* Dark Mocha Almond Whole Grain bars and Kashi* Chia Granola Dark Chocolate, Almond & Sea Salt bars, which will begin to arrive in retail stores this month.
Kashi* Dark Mocha Almond Whole Grain bars and Kashi* Chia Granola Dark Chocolate, Almond & Sea Salt bars will now include peanuts in the “May contain” statement.
As part of their communication initiative to inform consumers with food allergies, they have provided information outlining this change, which we’ve included below.

November 2018 – New Allergen Notification for Kashi* Dark Mocha Almond Whole Grain bars and Kashi* Chia Granola Dark Chocolate, Almond & Sea Salt bars.
Kashi Canada would like to let consumers know about a change to our products.
Kashi* Dark Mocha Almond Whole Grain bars and Kashi* Chia Granola Dark Chocolate, Almond & Sea Salt bars will now include peanuts in the May Contain Statement. Consumers will begin to see these new product packages in their retail and grocery store locations in late November 2018.
The Contain and May Contain Statements for Kashi* Dark Mocha Almond Whole Grain bars will read CONTAINS OAT, ALMOND AND SOY INGREDIENTS. MAY CONTAIN PEANUTS AND OTHER TREE NUTS. The Contain and May Contain Statements for Kashi* Chia Granola Dark Chocolate, Almond & Sea Salt bars will read CONTAINS OAT, ALMOND AND SOY INGREDIENTS. MAY CONTAIN PEANUTS AND OTHER TREE NUTS.
