Creating a better future: Register for our 2020 National Conference
Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, ON or live-stream the sessions if you’re not able to come in person. This full-day conference is centered around a variety of topics on how to create a better #FoodAllergyFuture.
You’ll have the opportunity to hear directly from interesting and dynamic speakers who are thought leaders in food allergy, and you’ll be able to ask questions. Plus, in between the sessions, you’ll have time to visit the exhibitors and connect with other conference attendees.

#FoodAllergyFuture Challenge: Contest for youth ages 12-25
Calling all youth! Participate in this innovation contest for a chance to win a grand prize (value of $3,250) AND be our first #FoodAllergyFuture Challenge winner.
The pitch
Inspire us with your innovative idea on how you can make life better for those with food allergy. Whether it’s an app, a song, a book, or a creative way to communicate you have a food allergy, the ideas are endless! Think about what would make life easier for you and others, and then share that idea with us.
To enter, just send us a short two-minute video explaining your idea. The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2020.
The prize
The winner will be awarded $500 to help bring their big idea to life PLUS 10 hours of business coaching with entrepreneurship and innovation coach, Andrew Moss. The coaching includes a 1-hour intro call, and three 1-hour sessions/month for 3 months (available in-person or video call). The total prize value is $3,250.

Pryde Family Travel Grant – Deadline soon: March 23rd
For graduate students, medical students, and healthcare professionals with an interest in food allergy/anaphylaxis. The Pryde Family Travel Grant offers two grants valued at $500 each to help cover the costs of attending an academic program or event related to food allergy. Sabrina Shannon Memorial Award
For students entering their first year or continuing their studies at a post-secondary institution. Students can apply for a chance to receive one of two awards valued at $1,000 each.
