Latest update: EpiPen® and EpiPen® Jr auto-injector supply interruption

Pfizer Canada has provided an update on the EpiPen and EpiPen Jr. auto-injector supply interruptions. Please see their notice below.

From Pfizer Canada, as of March 8, 2018:

Thank you for your patience throughout the EpiPen supply interruption. Pfizer Canada is pleased to announce that inventory of EpiPen 0.3 mg auto-injectors and EpiPen 0.15 mg (Jr strength) to replenish the Canadian market has been shipped. Pharmacies across the country will have access to supply by March 9, 2018. We continue to work towards ensuring consistent supply of both EpiPen 0.15 mg and EpiPen 0.3 mg, with additional stock expected to be released in upcoming weeks.

The Pryde Family Travel Grant and the Sabrina Shannon Memorial Award

Hurry, the deadline is fast approaching: The Pryde Family Travel Grant

For graduate students, medical students, and health care professionals with an interest in food allergy/anaphylaxis. The Pryde Family Travel Grant offers two grants valued at $500 each to help cover the costs for attending an academic program or event related to food allergies. Deadline to apply is March 23, 2018.

The Sabrina Shannon Memorial Award

For students entering their first year or continuing their studies at a post-secondary institution. The Sabrina Shannon Memorial Award offers two awards of $1,000 each to help cover the costs of schooling. Applicants do not need to have food allergies to be eligible for the award. Learn more and apply by June 22, 2018.
